Inside Sales Team Member

TRUPOINT Partners has an immediate opening for a Junior Sales and Lead Generation position (inside sales). A TRUPOINT Partners Inside Sales representative’s job entails selling or introducing new corporate products or services to both prospects and established clients. The prospects and clients will communicate with an Inside Sales representative to request product information and pricing quotations by primarily web, telephone, or email.  The primary duty involves tracking and following up on the leads, the organization generates based on various forms of marketing (web, direct mail, PR, direct dial campaigns). An Inside Sales representative handles all project execution actions, onboarding and overall client satisfaction. The inside sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator, possess a positive “can-do” attitude, and exhibit a strong desire to be successful in sales activities and the sales.  The person must consistently maintain a high level of professional integrity. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and accomplishing a region lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets.
  • Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process (suspects, prospects and clients).
  • Cooperating with Sales Supervisor to determine essential strategic approaches for sales.
  • Consistently maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
  • Outbound and inbound account management.
  • Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.
  • Handling cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments.
  • Ensure the delivery commitment to clients is met.
  • Collating and consolidating report on weekly sales performance per sales personnel, per product, per region or office, and per industry. 
  • Providing effective product demos for end-user customers as well as for the resellers (strategic partners). 
  • Generate market interest and close sales by executing Product and Segment Marketing activities such as: projects, surveys, campaigns, teaching, site visits and or promotions.
  • Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms.
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce CRM).  Manage sales funnel development by entering and update all customer Opportunities and Leads into SalesForce.
  • Attending industry webinars and teleconferences to develop industry expertise and to build network.
  • Serve as internal sales support for pre-defined territory locations
  • Must be focused on individual goals with a team mindset.  Individual will cover voicemail and email for Inside sales staff while members are on vacation or unable to access their mailboxes.
  • Cover other duties as assigned.

  • Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.  Able to spend majority of day on the telephone with prospects and clients helping them understand the value proposition of TruPoint Partners and increasing the target’s engagement level with our firm.
  • Should be expert in CRM software solutions.
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic.
  • Sales focused, with a service heart that always respects and honors the prospect and client.
  • Job is located in Charlotte, NC.  We will not consider any remote employment programs at this time.  Hours correspond with the region of the country where accounts are located.

Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing or related field (four year college degree)
  • Two years of sales experience
  • Relevant training in Inside sales.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
